Wraparound Care
Our before- and after-school provision and holiday clubs are provided in-house and are called School's Out Club.
The provision is led by Miss Laura Ellis, a former primary teacher with 18+ years’ experience who is thrilled to lead the team of Play Leaders providing an outstanding service.
School's Out Club is available to children from Nursery who are aged 3+ to Year 4 at the Longdon campus.
Before-school provision runs from 7.30am to 8.30am and includes breakfast. After-school provision runs from 3.45pm to 6.00pm.
We understand the value of before- and after-school club to working parents who are juggling work and childcare, and the wraparound care offers a range of interesting and engaging activities for the children, where they can play with friends and socialise with children who have similar interests, all in a safe environment with nurturing staff. After a busy day in school, some children need to burn off some energy; others prefer quiet, relaxing activities. The key is ensuring that each child’s needs are accommodated.
The School offers a range of Co-curricular Clubs from 3.15pm to 4.30pm each day, so parents can choose which sessions of after-school care their children will attend. Wraparound bookings are made online through ParentPay.
Half Term Holiday Club - 27 to 30 May
The LCS Half Term Holiday Club for pupils in Pre-Reception to Year 6, run by LCS staff at Longdon promises to be filled with fun, adventure and relaxation.
Different activities on each day will stimulate creativity and encourage friendship -examples from previous holiday clubs include:
- Outdoor fun led by experienced and qualified leaders from Little Sprouts Forest School
- Creative Cooking led by Alison Worship of Worship Worth Experiences
- Game Changer Gaming Van featuring a custom-built bus, a huge array of games and all the latest consoles
- Animal magic featuring an exciting variety of live animals from Nature's Burrow
- Performing arts led by the Pauline Quirke Academy
Cost: £165 for 4 days or book individual days for £45 each.
Sibling discount: £40 per child, per day
LCS parents can book via their ParentPay account. We accept payment via Tax Free Childcare accounts.
