The Nursery
Located at our Longdon campus in a beautiful rural setting, The Nursery provides stimulating and nurturing environments where children are encouraged to explore and investigate.
Children are welcomed into Nursery from 2 years of age. From September 2025 The Nursery provision will be offered for 50 weeks per year, alongside wraparound care from 7.30am to 5.30pm each day from Monday to Friday.
We value kindness and confidence. This exciting part of a child’s learning journey is supported by talented and passionate teachers in all rooms, an enriched curriculum including sport, drama, music, dance, art and Forest School, and a range of fascinating educational trips that inspire and surprise.
Everyone who visits our Longdon campus comments on the family atmosphere and happy pupils who obviously love their school. There is genuine warmth and joy, along with a purposeful feeling of learning in action.
The curriculum is broad, creative and academically stretching. Caring and creative teachers instil the necessary building blocks for a secure educational foundation while making school fun and interesting. Our approach to learning through inquiry, play and activity, develops motivation and fosters a life-long love of learning.
Our outstanding pastoral care is central to each child’s experience at The Nursery. Happy children are successful learners and their safety and wellbeing will always be our highest priority. We ensure your child will feel safe and supported from their initial visit onwards.
This care is reinforced by open, daily communication with parents and strong home-school partnerships. Regular stay and play sessions, Parents’ Evenings and a range of workshops, talks and events ensure parents are fully engaged with their child’s progress and that transitions from one year to another are handled carefully.
