Parent referrals

Choosing the right school for your child can be a daunting task and parents often rely on valuable recommendations from their friends and family.  Referrals and word-of-mouth are our leading sources for prospective pupils. 

Our aim is to create a community of learning where each pupil is supported individually to realise their full potential.  Whether this takes place within the magnificent surroundings of The Close or the beautiful countryside at Longdon, all pupils are nurtured in a safe, secure and happy school environment.

As LCS parents, you already share this vision and we believe that your contribution goes a long way in building a larger and better Cathedral School community. Our parents, along with our pupils and staff, are the best school ambassadors we could wish for, and we would like to thank you for the numerous recommendations and testimonials you provide regularly.

In recognition of this, we are proud to share our Parent Referral Programme where we reward our parents for recommending us to their friends and family with school-aged children, on successful enrolment at LCS.

Parent Referrals Rewarded

Many families first learned about LCS through someone they knew.  Do you know a family that would thrive at the Cathedral School? 

When you recommend a friend to LCS, please tell them we’ll be in touch.  We will make a single connection with them to talk about our School and the opportunities available for their child.  If they’re interested, we’ll continue the conversation.  If they aren’t, we promise to let it end there because we value your trust and respect your friendship.

For every child you refer who enrols at Lichfield Cathedral School, you will be rewarded with a £500 payment or have £500 credited to your next school fee invoice (please make sure to read the terms and conditions of the Parent Referral Programme).

You’ve given us the opportunity to nurture your child’s personal and academic growth, and this scheme rewards you for your effort in helping to promote LCS.

Terms and Conditions

• Only parents with children currently enrolled at Lichfield Cathedral School can participate in this programme.
• The referred family must not have had any previous communication or connection with the School.
• The referring parent has discussed this with the referee and obtained their consent for Admissions to contact them.
• A new pupil is defined as a full-time day pupil enrolling in Reception-Year 12 for the first time at LCS from a family that has no other children currently or previously enrolled at LCS.
• With the consent of the referee (new parent), the referrer (existing parent) is required to submit details of the referee (before their first visit to the School) via the online referral form. No other form of communication about the referee will be accepted.
• Each new parent can only be referred by one current parent in the Parent Referral Programme.
• Rewards will be applicable for every successful enrolment. The referral is considered successful if the following conditions are met:
  • The referred child completes the admission process and is offered a place at the school.
  • The registration fee, admissions fee, deposit and first term’s fees of the referred child have been paid in full.
  • The referred child is actively attending the school.
• Any claims for the referral reward after a new family has already contacted or registered at Lichfield Cathedral School will not be accepted.
• There is no limit on the number of referrals a parent can provide.
• Referrals to the Nursery are not covered in this scheme.
• The referring family has remained up-to-date on their tuition fee payments.
• Lichfield Cathedral School reserves the right to modify or withdraw this programme on its own discretion without prior notice.
