Nursery Fees

We believe in complete transparency when it comes to childcare costs. That’s why we’ve created this easy-to-use tool that puts you in control. No hidden fees, no surprises—just clear pricing tailored to your family’s needs.

With our calculator, you can configure exactly what works for you:

  • Choose the number of days and hours that suit your schedule
  • Add optional extras only if you need them
  • See the full cost, how the funding is broken down and how much it will cost you

Click here to calculate your nursery costs

Your child’s care should be flexible, honest, and stress-free—and so should the pricing. Start planning today and build the perfect care package for your little one.

Additional sessions can be booked with at least 24 hours' notice and will incur an additional 15% charge on the costs detailed above.

Sibling Discount: When two or more children from the same family attend the school at the same time, sibling discounts are available. Please contact the Finance Department for further information on 01543 306172.

In addition to the Fees, the following ancillary fees may apply:

  • Late pick-up fee: £20 per half hour.
  • Monthly administration fee: £4.95 (if not paying by Direct Debit).
  • Failed payment fee: £20 per failed payment.

Childcare support for working parents

Working parents are eligible for up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week for 38 weeks of the year. This substantial support applies from the start of The Nursery for 2 year olds and continues until your child reaches 5 years of age.

For parents who do not meet the eligibility criteria: All families with 3 and 4 year old children will continue to receive 15 hours of universal funded childcare over 38 weeks of the year.

Childcare Vouchers are an employer-provided scheme that allows you to pay for childcare from your pre-tax salary. This can lead to savings, as you do not pay tax or National Insurance on the portion of your salary used to purchase vouchers. However, it is important to note that the Childcare Vouchers scheme is closed to new entrants. If you are already enrolled and receiving vouchers, you can continue to use this scheme as long as your employer offers it, and you remain eligible.

Tax-Free Childcare is a government scheme open to eligible working families, including the self-employed. For every £8 you pay into your Tax-Free Childcare account, the government adds an additional £2 up to £2,000 per child per year (£4,000 for disabled children). This scheme is available for children up to the age of 11 (or 17 if the child has a disability) and is intended to replace Childcare Vouchers for new applicants.

Insurance

It should be noted that the responsibility for the insurance of pupils’ clothing and effects, whilst they are at The Nursery rests with parents. A householder’s comprehensive policy can be suitably extended for this purpose. Alternatively, an all-risk policy should give adequate cover.
