U15 Touch Rugby in action

Our T1 rugby team enjoyed a positive day of competition at Derby Grammar, competing against our hosts, Arnold Lodge, Tettenhall College and Priory School.

The team started the tournament with two closely fought draws, showing plenty of determination and producing some really good T1 touch rugby despite having had very little opportunity to play the format recently. The players quickly adapted and demonstrated excellent attacking play, teamwork and support around the pitch.

Unfortunately, we lost to Derby Grammar before finishing the tournament with another draw in our final game. There were brilliant individual moments throughout the day, including excellent tries from Alex, Miles and Charlie, who all contributed to an enjoyable and competitive afternoon.

The team ultimately finished 3rd overall, which was a great achievement given the limited experience of T1 rugby. More importantly, it was a really valuable opportunity for the boys to gain experience, develop their understanding of the format and enjoy representing LCS.

A thoroughly positive day of T1 rugby and a great experience for the team. Well done, boys!
