U15 Girls' Netball vs Stafford Grammar

Our U15 girls played their first fixture of the year on Thursday against Stafford Grammar, which was also their first opportunity to play together as a team. From the opening whistle, the girls showed great confidence and cohesion.

A strong first quarter saw LCS take an early 11–2 lead, setting the tone for the match. With this solid foundation, the team took the opportunity to rotate positions and explore different combinations across the court. Despite the changes, the girls continued to work exceptionally well together, extending the score to 15–4 by halftime.

The third quarter showcased excellent teamwork and adaptability, with sharp passing and effective movement helping to increase the lead to 23–7. The final quarter remained competitive as both teams pushed on, with the match finishing 23–9.

Overall, it was a very positive first outing for the team. The girls embraced playing out of position, supported one another throughout, and demonstrated strong teamwork - an encouraging start to the season with plenty to build on.

Player of the Game: Jess H, chosen by Stafford Grammar.
