U13 Tennis vs Old Swinford Hospital

It was a fantastic afternoon of tennis on home turf as our U13 team from LCS welcomed Old Swinford Hospital for a brilliant fixture full of sportsmanship, skill, and joy. LCS put in a superb all-round performance, winning all four singles rubbers and both doubles matches for a clean 6-0 victory!

From the very first point, the boys played with focus, flair, and great tactical awareness. There were plenty of exciting rallies, clever plays, and moments of real class across the board – all played in an excellent spirit.  Callum captained the team with confidence and maturity beyond his years. His leadership was outstanding – calm, encouraging, and focused – and he set the tone both with his tennis and his attitude.  Harvey, Alex, and Teddy all delivered strong singles performances, showing off not only their technical ability but also their smart decision-making on court. Every player contributed to the team’s success with real determination and positivity.

The doubles rubbers wrapped up the fixture in style, with great teamwork, communication, and some quick reflexes at the net. It was clear the boys were enjoying every minute of it.  Huge congratulations to the team – Callum (Captain), Harvey, Alex, and Teddy – for a dominant and thoroughly enjoyable home win. A great day for LCS Tennis and a brilliant example of the game played the right way!
