U12 and U13 Hockey - Girls

Our U12 and U13 girls returned to action under the lights at Lichfield Sports Club recently, taking on strong opposition from KES in a series of well-fought matches.

The U12s showed great determination throughout the evening. They narrowly lost their opening game 2–0 after a competitive first half that also ended 2–0. Their second match saw them face an older KES side, and although the result didn’t go their way, the team battled hard from start to finish. It was fantastic to see several new players stepping onto the pitch for the first time - bringing real enthusiasm and energy to the squad.

The U13s also put in a spirited performance. They lost their first game 3–1 but bounced back impressively to draw their second match, showing resilience and much-improved teamwork as the evening went on. Shout out to Mia C, who was outstanding on her first appearance in goal this year - making several excellent saves and keeping the team firmly in the game.
