U11 Cricket vs Denstone

On a sunny and cheerful afternoon, we were delighted to welcome Denstone for a fantastic showcase of U11 pairs cricket. With five matches being played at once across the grounds, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy, excitement, and friendly competition.

The format of pairs cricket gave every player plenty of time at the crease and in the field, and it was brilliant to see the high level of skill, teamwork and sportsmanship on display.  Each match was closely contested, full of thrilling moments, and played in exactly the right spirit – competitive yet respectful.  What stood out most was the enthusiasm and joy with which every student played.  Smiles all around, supportive encouragement between teams, and a real sense of camaraderie made the afternoon truly special.

After an action-packed few hours, the players rounded off their afternoon with a well-earned match tea of flapjacks and juice – a sweet reward for their efforts!  A huge thank you to Denstone for visiting and to all the U11 cricketers for making it such an enjoyable and memorable occasion.
