Tri-Golf Festival fun!

This week, we were thrilled to host our annual School Games Tri-Golf Festival here at Lichfield Cathedral School —and what a day it was!  We welcomed five fantastic schools, each bringing at least two enthusiastic teams, and the energy was brilliant from start to finish. The sun was shining, spirits were high, and there were plenty of smiles all round as children took to the course.

There was a huge emphasis on sportsmanship, fair play, and simply having fun, and the children certainly delivered on all fronts. It was wonderful to see so many children giving golf a go for the very first time, and even more heartening to witness the constant encouragement and support shared between teams.  The level of skill on display was truly impressive - and let’s not forget a big shout out to St Stephen's, who finished the morning with the highest points tally!

A massive thank you to the Year 9 leaders who were absolutely brilliant in organising, leading and making each event thoroughly enjoyable for all participants! Thank you for being awesome Year 9!

We've had some lovely feedback from players, staff, and parents, and we couldn't be happier with how the day went. A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success!
