Translation commendation from Oxford University

Well done to everyone who took part in the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators, a national competition run by the Queen's College Translation Exchange at the University of Oxford.

Special congratulations go to Ethan GJ, who has been awarded a Commendation for his translation of a Maurice Carême poem from French into English.

This is a huge achievement. More than 22,000 students participated in the competition in 2025, and almost 5,000 entries were judged by professional literary translators and Modern Languages students at the University of Oxford. Bravo, Ethan!
