The Growing Classroom officially opened!

A huge thank you to The Friends of LCS along with the sponsors and supporters who had raised more than £13,000 at last year's Summer Ball for the Growing Classroom at Longdon.  The polycrub enabled the extension of our outdoor learning at Longdon to embrace year-round horticulture and studies in biodiversity and sustainability, core to our unique Growing Minds curriculum.

The official opening included fantastic maypole dancing, poetry and song, while our wonderful catering team from Accent produced beautiful themed cakes and a live cooking demonstration (a delicious risotto!)
