The Friends of LCS hosted a fabulous Summer Ball recently, with guests enjoying delicious fine dining while being entertained by an amazing magician and a great band.  This wonderful event raised valuable funds for the redevelopment of the moat area behind Broadhurst, to provide enhanced physical, recreational and wellbeing spaces for pupils in Years 5 and 6.

The event would not have been possible without the remarkable support of our sponsors including:

Cathedral Jewellers Lichfield - a business new to Lichfield, but rooted in decades of passion and craftsmanship in fine jewellery and watches, bespoke design, and professional repairs and remodelling.  Our main sponsor for the evening, we are extremely grateful for their support.

Our supporting sponsors included: Prezzo Italian, the Doocey Group, BR Accountants, The Apiarist, Pegasus Group, SCT Sutton Coldfield Training Ltd,  National Timber and Lichfield Maize Maze.  Their support helped to make the evening so special and enabled us to provide additional resources for Broadhurst pupils.

Huge thanks go to the many auction and raffle prizes donated by people and organisations in the school community, including Tentickle. 

The funds raised have enabled the Friends to invest a fantastic £12,500 in new equipment and landscaping for the Broadhurst pupils, significantly expanding the outdoor space they can enjoy during break and lunchtimes.  No doubt if summers like this continue, there will be plenty of outdoor lessons next year!  Below is a photo showing what the moat area looks like now, and what it could look like in September.
