Stafford Harriers Showground Relays

On Wednesday 10th June, 8 staff members and 7 pupils travelled to the Staffordshire County Showground for the annual Stafford Harriers Relays. The event consists of teams of four people, each completing a two miles loop to create a finish time for your team. The run is a social, but competitive event, with runners taking part from local clubs, workplaces, social run clubs and schools.

Last year the PE department was the only LCS team to compete at the event, so it was great to have some more staff and include pupils this year. There were some brilliant times from everyone and of course, everyone was very happy to walk away with a medal too.

Look out for details of next year's event, with the aim of including a parents' team.
