Splendid Sports Day for Years 7-12

The high temperatures forecast for the planned date suggested a possible cancellation, so a huge thank you goes to our Facilities team, The Friends of LCS, our Catering team, Mr Chamberlin and all the parents who attended for accommodating the change of date within 24 hours!  

Overall, 30 school records were broken, which is 5 more than last year. The standard of athletics on show was amazing and it was great to see parents and staff getting involved with the relays at the end too.

Finally, huge congratulations to Barber (again) for winning the Sports Day Cup. I’ve lost count of how many years in a row they’ve won it, but the other Houses need to do better!!
