STEM day at Aston University for Year 8 pupils

A group of Year 8 students recently visited Aston University for a Science and Technology Challenge Day. They completed 4 different activities that included E-FIT profiling technology, a robotics programming activity, a medical diagnostics and CPR activity and a vehicle design and engineering activity.

They had a great day learning about different technologies and using new skills. It was also lovely to see our students working well in teams with pupils from other schools.

We were very proud of how our students fully engaged with everything the day had to offer. Lucia P-J and Lily T even won the award for the vehicle design activity with the rest of their group. Well done everyone!
