Remembering John Heath

Yesterday we had the great privilege of attending the funeral of John Heath to celebrate his long and impactful life. It was clear that his passion for music was fundamental to who he was.

To LCS, John was an incredibly generous donor, donating over £100k to create the John Heath Endowment Fund.

This fund is intended to provide up to two Sixth Formers a year who "have demonstrated serious musical commitment and also outstanding attainment and promise" with a year's school fees paid. This enables students, who would otherwise be unable to access an LCS education, the opportunity to benefit from our outstanding musical and academic training (LCS usually funds the second year of Sixth Form tuition fees for John Heath Endowment Fund recipients).

The impact that John has had, and will continue to have, on people's lives is immense and we will be forever grateful for his generosity. May he rest in peace.
