Outdoor learning update

Although we were not in school for half of April, we packed a lot in!

We planted tomato seeds which sprouted in the polycrub; monitored our Dogwood cuttings which are growing nicely; undertook biodiversity studies using string circles to help compare plant species in different areas of the school site; checked on lots of seedlings emerging in the meadow; toasted Easter marshmallows; and, learned to use an electric drill to make bee hotels.
