LCS Organists at Coventry Cathedral

On Bank Holiday Monday, our three school organists - Leo, Laurie and Isobel - enjoyed a ‘Play the Organ’ morning at Coventry Cathedral. They were each able to play Coventry Cathedral’s renowned Harrison organ with guidance from Liam Condon, Coventry Cathedral’s Assistant Director of Music (and former LCS music teacher!) 

An engaging question and answer session over tea and biscuits with the cathedral’s current organ scholar provided insight into the role of an organ scholar and how to achieve this position.

The morning culminated with a recital of ‘Organ Favourites’ by Liam, allowing everyone to leave just in time to see all the Coventry City fans partying around the city centre.
