Jayce invited to library official opening

As a literary champion and published author, Jayce (Year 3) was invited to attend the official opening of the new library at Tettenhall Wood School and was honoured to deliver a short speech as part of the ceremony. The event celebrated the importance of reading and literacy, as well as the creation of a wonderful new space that will support and inspire children for many years to come.
It was a particularly memorable occasion attended by a number of distinguished guests, including the Mayor of Wolverhampton. Jayce spoke about the power of books, storytelling and the importance of creating welcoming spaces where all children can develop a love of reading.
Jayce's mum said: "We are incredibly proud of how confidently he represented himself and his passion for literacy. Opportunities like these mean a great deal to him and we know they are only possible because of the encouragement and support he receives both at home and at school."
