Golfing talent flourishing

Zara and Poppy (both in Year 4) recently took part in a Golf Sixes competition at Druid’s Heath Golf Club in Aldridge. 

In pairs, the girls played 6 holes against each other for their respective clubs; Zara playing for Druid’s Heath and Poppy playing for Little Aston. The final pairing in the competition was from Whittington Golf Club.  Despite being on separate teams the camaraderie between the girls was brilliant as they cheered each other on. Some great shots were played by both girls.

There are six more Golf Sixes competitions this season and we’re looking forward to seeing more of the girls’ golfing talent as the competition progresses.
