Forensic Science at Thinktank

Year 6 recently enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to the Thinktank Museum. During the visit, the children took part in a hands-on forensic science workshop. They tested fingerprinting techniques, used microscopes, and learned how forensic scientists and the police work together to solve crimes. This experience links closely to our upcoming science topic on variation and gave the children a fascinating insight into how science is used in the real world.

Alongside the workshop, Year 6 had the opportunity to explore the many levels of the Thinktank Museum. They discovered more about the past, present and future through a wide range of interactive exhibits.

The children represented the school brilliantly throughout the day and showed great enthusiasm for learning.
