Fantastic evening of Girls' Hockey vs The Friary

Our Under 12/13 girls enjoyed a fantastic evening of hockey yesterday as they faced the Friary School under the lights at Lichfield Sports Club.

We began with separate age-group matches. The U12s showed incredible resilience, battling back from 2–0 down at half-time to secure a 2–2 draw. Their determination shone throughout, with Amelia C deservedly named Girl of the Game.

The U13s followed with an outstanding 6–0 victory, displaying superb skill, teamwork, and control from start to finish.

After the individual matches, the girls were mixed into two combined-age teams. One team, captained by Ambur J, put in a spirited performance in their first match together, narrowly losing 0–2 where Amelia C claimed her second Girl of the Game award. Our second team, captained by Isla T, produced a strong 5–2 win, with Isla earning Girl of the Game for both matches she played.
