Exciting seasonal theatre trips

Year 8 were feeling both inspired and festive after a trip to see Cinderella at the Garrick Theatre. Feeding into their work on Commedia, students enjoyed getting into the spirit of the season with a lot of “He’s behind you!” and “oh yes it is!”

Year 9 enjoyed watching Sherlock Holmes and the 12 Days of Christmas at the Birmingham Rep. With superb acting as well as songs written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Students were in agreement that the show was both festive and funny. It was an added bonus to be seated so close to the orchestra, too!
