Excellent achievement by U16 Netballers

A top performance by the LCS U16 netballers who finished runners-up in the Midlands ISA competition, losing out by a single goal in the final to Twycross. The girls played superbly all day, qualifying top in their section, scoring 40 goals and conceding just 5.

The team defeated St Dominic's in the quarter finals, before coming up against Kings High in the semis, whom they had already defeated in the pool section. But Kings nearly turned the tables taking a 3-0 lead, before a resilient performance by LCS saw a great comeback to take the game 8-6.

The final was a tight affair with LCS just falling short in a 3-2 defeat. Great play, teamwork, and sportsmanship all day - well done girls!
