Eventing success for Luella and Jack

Luella (Year 11) and her horse Jack have had a busy few weeks since the eventing season opened. Luella set her self a target to qualify for the prestigious One Star Osberton Eventing Trials Championships held in September, the first time such a class has been held in the UK. The competition reflects a focused effort to provide age-appropriate international competitive opportunities for young riders while supporting their long-term progression within the sport of eventing.

Luella and Jack needed three clear rounds at Oxstalls, Eland Lodge, and finally Ascot under Wychwood which was held recently. Luella and Jack have successfully qualified, and Luella can go into her GCSE exams with peace of mind, while Jack enjoys a well-earned rest until the eventing season in Ireland, during the summer holidays.
