Essential Library skills for Primary pupils

Mrs Mills introduced the 'Reading Zone' at Broadhurst to Year 5 as well as explaining to the children how the library works and how we choose books.

To check their understanding, the children completed a quiz to test their knowledge of books and all thing libraries - with gold stars awarded to everyone!

Mrs Mills is available at Broadhurst from Monday to Thursday at break-time for Library Club and children are always welcome to ask questions and seek recommendations for their next exciting read.

Mrs Mills talked to Years 1-4 about the library recently, and children found how the library works, what books the library holds, and how to look after and care for books. Mrs Mills is at Longdon every Friday to run the Library Club for Years 3 and 4.
