Could you be Young Poet Laureate for Staffordshire?

Staffordshire Libraries & Communities Service are looking to appoint a new Staffordshire Young Poet Laureate for 2025-26. 

This one-year post offers an opportunity to continue the work of previous Young Poets Laureate and bring new ideas for raising the profile of poetry amongst children and young people across Staffordshire. 

This role is an opportunity and a platform to celebrate young talent while raising aspirations of others through promotion and performance.

The Young Poet Laureate will be mentored by the Staffordshire Poet Laureate who will support and encourage development throughout their role. Please share this opportunity with anyone you think might be interested.
