Cathy Lamb and MusicShare honoured at Royal Albert Hall
Huge congratulations to the brilliant MusicShare and exceptional Catherine Lamb for winning the Classic FM Music Teacher of the Year award for Best Music Learning Initiative! Last night Cathy was joined by John Callister and Jennifer Mason from the Entrust Music Service Staffordshire and The Music Partnership at a celebration in the Royal Albert Hall, also marking the 25th anniversary of Classic FM Live.
Cathy and the other winners were treated to a fabulous concert by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, featuring legendary Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel and composer Sir John Rutter conducting in his 80th birthday year. Cathy was presented with a certificate by wonderful Classic FM hosts Dan Walker and Myleene Klass.
MusicShare is an award-winning singing for schools programme that is a joint initiative between The Music Partnership, Lichfield Cathedral and Lichfield Cathedral School, with support from the Entrust Music Service Staffordshire and the Arts Council England.
