Burntwood & Lichfield School Games Cross-Country

On Tuesday 13th May, our Year 4 cross-country runners took on the Burntwood and Lichfield School Games course in the 20-degree heat at Chase Terrace Academy. Across all age groups, we have had a super successful year with our XC teams.

It was definitely not your typical cross-country weather, but our Year 4 team showed incredible effort and perseverance when tackling the course. There were lots of local primary schools taking part and our pupils competed well securing some amazing results. The highlight in the boys' race was Daniel who finished in a brilliant 2nd place. In the girls' race, we were equally as impressive with Poppy R finishing 3rd and closely followed by Annabelle (4th) and Poppy T (6th). Well done to all the runners!
