Art inspired by Sir David Attenborough

This half term the children in Year 2 have been putting their creative skills to the test by drawing and then painting polar bears and dolphins.

Last week we watched a short Sir David Attenborough clip on polar bears and the children noticed that whilst polar bears may appear 'white' at first glance, when we looked at them closely, there were many other colours hidden in their furry coats.

I was very proud of their work from last week which has been mounted on a display board.

Following on from this, we learned about spinner dolphins and we had a go at painting them. I am sure you will agree that we have some talented artists! Well done Year 2!
