Amelia signs with Birmingham City Girls

Amelia in Year 9 has been scouted by the head scout for Birmingham City Girls and has been selected to play for their U16 football team. Amelia is currently U14, so is playing up two age groups.

She will be training and playing four times a week, including gym sessions, and competing in the Junior Premier League against other teams like Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and some boys’ teams. 

Amelia says she is of course buzzing with the news and is really glad to have been selected for the academy, as she is a Birmingham City fan. Amelia is really glad to be in the academy set up, and has dreams of becoming a professional footballer.
