Alex in Championship-winning team

Alex (Year 9) was part of the winning U14 Staffordshire Hockey Team who lifted the end-of-season inter-county Midlands Championships during the Easter holidays.

The county side topped the tournament after beating Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and close rivals Warwickshire.

The team started the season slowly but gelled as a group, improving after every training session. Only last month they won another inter-county tournament, again finishing unbeaten.

Alex was ever-present at right back throughout the season and follows in the footsteps of his big brother (and former LCS student) Seb, who was in the team that won the same tournament six years ago.
