A superstar season for Poppy!

Poppy celebrating with one of the footballing cups she won this season As we reach the end of another fantastic school year, we couldn't let it pass without celebrating some brilliant football achievements from Poppy in Year 5!

Poppy has had a truly outstanding season this year, picking up multiple cup wins along the way. The first came at the EDP Finals, played in Swindon, followed by success in the Central Warwickshire Girls League Spring Cup. On top of these fantastic results, Poppy's team also finished the entire league season unbeaten – a brilliant achievement for all involved.

As if that wasn't enough, Poppy has also been retained by Birmingham City Academy for the 2026/27 season – news she is absolutely delighted about!

We are so proud of everything Poppy has achieved this year, both on and off the pitch, and we can't wait to see what the upcoming season brings. Well done, Poppy!
