Librarian

We are currently recruiting for a School Librarian to work at our Lichfield site, although the position would have overall responsibility for the libraries across the school.

The role will work extremely closely with the academic staff and encourage use of the library for pupils across all parts of the school. You will have the responsibility for integrating the library into the life of the school, by promoting its services ensuring that it reflects the educational aims of the school as a whole. You will have the responsibility for loaning of books, maintaining library resources, stock takes, overseeing budgets, arranging book fairs along with other related events.

The hours for this position will be 9am – 2pm during term time.

We require excellent Microsoft Office skills, good communication skills at all levels, and the ability to work flexibly within this busy role. Knowledge of library systems would also be desirable.

Graduate Sports Assistant (0.8 FTE)

September 2017

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Graduate Sports Assistant who has proven track record of accelerating progress in Physical Education and is able to secure high level achievement.

It is a part time role, currently working over 4 days where the successful candidate will be involved with teaching pupils during Games afternoons, being responsible for at least one school sports team and being involved with extra-curricular activities within the department.

You will join a thriving team who teach across the age and ability range throughout the school. You will have an ability to build, develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all students, parents and colleagues alike. All staff are expected to contribute to the wider aspects of school life.

Following the recent excellent ISI Inspection received by the School, we are looking for the right candidate to fill this role to continue to deliver the outstanding education reflected in our most recent report.
